I recently lamented with one of my friends how our creative daughters seem to be so busy creating and dreaming they have little time to clean their rooms or pick up their boots, jackets, backpacks and lunchboxes (my daughter) as they leave a trail Hansel and Gretel could easily follow...
Here is some of my evidence:
The very healthy breakfast buffet Lauren put together one Sunday morning--complete with bananas and cherry tomatoes. Note the very nicely arranged line of cereals.
Lauren's flamingo from first grade art. I asked her why it didn't have any eyelashes--she loves putting eyelashes on all of her eyes. She answered me, "Mom, it's a pink flamingo. That means it's a boy. Girl flamingos are white. Boy flamingos don't have eyelashes." I learned something new.
Megan's pre-school class did songs for the parents around Valentine's Day. Here are a few pics of Meg.
Emily playing go-fish with her crackers. I think she was holding a jack and a seven.
